Our Clubs
Bowls
City of Peterborough Bowls Club was formed in 2014, formerly Belvedere and Molins Bowls Clubs. There are 3 midweek league teams, 3 Club 55 league teams, 2 weekend league teams and the club host the Annual Open Triples Tournament. The bowls club has their own purpose built clubhouse with one of the best rinks in the area.
Cricket
Peterborough Town Cricket Club formed in 1850, run 3 Saturday teams, 2 Sunday teams and a comprehensive youth section starting from All Stars (ages 5-8), Dynamos (girls ages 8-11) with age group sides from Under 9 to Under 19s. The club also hosts County matches for Cambridgeshire and youth matches for Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire. The last decade has seen the club achieve significant success:
- 6 ECB Northants Premier League titles
- 5 Northants Twenty20 cricket titles
- 7 Rutland League Division One titles
- 3 Jaidka Cup titles
Hockey
City of Peterborough Hockey Club is one of the biggest clubs in the East, with 8 men’s teams and 4 ladies teams and over 350 members. The men’s 1st team play in the National League Conference Midlands Division and Ladies in the East Prem. The club also have a thriving youth section with huge numbers of children playing mini hockey on Sunday mornings with a clear pathway to the senior teams. The Hockey club have one of the best playing surfaces around, which was re-laid recently in 2018.
Squash & Racketball
City of Peterborough Squash & Racketball Club has over 180 members. There are 5 courts, one of which is an amazing brand new glass back show court, which was opened in May 2021. The club held its first professional PSA tournament in 2021. Coaching is available from current and former professional players for all ages.
Tennis
City of Peterborough Tennis Club is one of our largest sections with over 500 members with tennis available for all levels, there are regular club social sessions as well as teams who compete in the local leagues. There are 3 macadem outdoor courts and 2 indoor acrylic courts under a fabric framed structure. 2021 saw the club hold its first ever Peterborough Tennis Festival. Coaching is available for juniors and adults of all levels through coaching provider inspire2coach.
